Sending your kids to YMCA Camp Eberhart gives them the opportunity to learn and grow in an extraordinary environment. The skills learned during their time at camp will be used throughout their lives and they will never forget the time they spend here. We hear it from campers old and new, there is no place like YMCA Camp Eberhart in all the world.
Summer campers – depending on their age, experience, and interest – can participate in our well-known Traditional Resident Camp programs, including our week-long Resident Camp program, our Three-Day Try-It Camp, our Leadership Core program (formerly CIT), our Staff-In-Training (SIT) program, Ranch Camp, and Astro Camp.
Questions About Camp?
Traditional Resident Camp
Traditional resident camp at YMCA Camp Eberhart is our flagship program. For over 110 years, our summer program has safely allowed children to learn new skills, belong to something bigger than themselves, and create lifelong friendships. Campers and parents select from a variety of programs prior to attending camp. Our emphasis on skill development and progression sets YMCA Camp Eberhart apart from other camps. Campers are not only encouraged to participate in activities but to gain a new level of proficiency. In addition to activities they’re passionate about, our open period allows them to experience other activities in Camp.
While at camp, campers will be in cabins with highly trained staff who are high school graduates, are First Aid/CPR certified, and truly care about every camper that comes through our gates. Many campers are home-grown, meaning they have been campers here themselves.
Our online registration system makes signing up for camp easier than ever. Our online scheduler allows parents and campers to pick the programs they want on a first come first serve basis to truly personalize their camp experience. Cabin mate requests, also made online, ensure campers are able to bunk with their best friends. Finally, parents are able to monitor store accounts from home, to make sure their camper can get everything they need from the camp store.
This unique program is designed for boys and girls who are eager to discover and ready to begin the great adventure of exploring the universe. Click here to learn more about Astro Camp.
